It's always better when it's home-made
OK, not always. Sometimes homemade things don't work out as well as expected. Though, usually people prefer (well made) homemade things to store bought things. This even holds true with the ever popular, YouTube. It seems that people using YouTube are more interested in watching the homemade videos, than watching the copyrighted ones.
According to YahooNews, "The Hitwise study of words and phrases used in Internet search engine queries that directed people to YouTube videos indicated that popular hunts focused on amateur videos."
Personally, I think this is pretty cool. It's nice to know that there are amateurs out there being heard. Plus, who doesn't like to watch someone else dancing around like a crazy person, while lip-syncing to some old pop song?
