Neek Talk Interview: Adam Travers
While wandering through the Sands Convention Center, the three of us were invited to take a look at the Icuiti booth, CES booth #71134. The first thing we noticed about the booth was how many people were around it. Unlike many booths who only had a few attendees scattered here and there, the Icuiti booth was packed! But, this didn't stop us from trying them out.
Icuiti, which is based out of Rochester, New York, manufacturers Micro Display products for the Defense, Commercial, Mobile Video, Games and Entertainment markets.
All the Icuiti products we saw look very sharp and sleek, just like the one below.
Doesn't it just make you want to try one on?
The Digital Video Eyewear from Icuiti can be used with Apple iPod and the Zune. Just plug either one into the Eyewear, and suddenly you are immersed in a virtual reality! However, the iPod and Zune aren't the only two products which are compatible with Icuiti Eyewear. According to Icuiti's website, you can also "Use it with your DVD player, Video iPod, Laptop, PC, A/V cell phone, multi-media player, or game console."
Guess what? Icuiti was the winner of the 2005 & 2006 Consumer Electronics Show Design Award.
